" Sentience can be very illogical"

How do you use logic to program the illogical? For any two propositions "A is B" and "A is not B" the two are mutually exclusive, right? Consider the law of the excluded middle, where if one proposition is true, then its negation must be false. If we are to program sentience, we must embrace the idea that emotions drive learning, decision-making, creativity, and relationships. Belief is also the power to use emotions to create a more effective outcome.
